Public Prosecutor at the Corruption Eradication Commission (

) handed over the indictment along with the case files of the Director of PT Wahana Adyawarna (WA) Menas Erwin Djohansyah to the Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor) at the Bandung District Court (PN), Thursday (11/12).
Thus, Menas will soon be tried.

“The delegation process was received directly by Panmud Tipikor and then we are waiting to determine the trial date,” said KPK Prosecutor Rio Vernika Putra when confirmed, Friday (12/12).
Rio said that in the first trial the prosecutor would fully explain Menas’ actions, including his relationship with former Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan.
The KPK used Article 5 paragraph 1 letter a or letter b or Article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor) in this case.
Menas Erwin was arrested on Wednesday, September 24 2025 evening at around 18.44 WIB at a house in the Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) area, South Tangerang.
Menas is suspected of having prepared a down payment (DP) amounting to IDR 9.8 billion as a bribe for Hasbi Hasan.
The bribe is suspected to be related to the handling of the case of Menas’ colleagues.
Menas was able to connect with Hasbi Hasan because he was introduced to him by someone named Fatahillah Ramli at the beginning of 2021.
Legal cases for which assistance is sought include disputes in Bali and East Jakarta;land disputes in Depok;land disputes in Sumedang;land dispute in Menteng;and mining land disputes in Samarinda.
However, in the process, the cases for which assistance was requested turned out to be lost so that Menas would be reported by the relevant parties.
For this reason, Menas contacted Fatahillah Ramli to help inform Hasbi to return the advance payment for processing the case that had been given.
