Groundbreaking procession of new building
Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School

At the event location, a number of Islamic boarding school caretaker families and Islamic boarding school guardians could not hold back their tears when a video recap of the building collapse that killed 63 Islamic boarding school students was played in the middle of the event.
Sad expressions were clearly visible on the faces of several people sitting in the audience seats.Some of them were seen covering their faces and wiping their tears.

Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment (Menko PM) Muhaimin Iskandar and Chair of the National Task Force (Satgas) for Arranging Islamic Boarding School Development also sent prayers to the victims.
“Let’s read one Al Fatihah, we will give it to our brothers and sisters who have gone before us,” said Cak Imin.
Cak Imin also hopes that the families of the victims of the building collapse will be given fortitude and strength by God
“To all the families from the past incident, we ask Allah to give us patience and strength. Amen,” he said.
“Hopefully all [Islamic boarding school] caregivers will also be given strength, guidance and health. Amen,” he added.
The PKB General Chair also hopes that students throughout Indonesia will be given safety and that the building collapse incident will not happen again.
Cak Imin hopes that the construction of the new AL Khoziny building will run quickly and smoothly, without any corruption or fraud behind it.
“Let us start this construction by saying bismillah together. Hopefully the building will be completed quickly, strong, with high quality. Amen. Not corrupted. Amen,” he said.
The new Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School building in Buduran, Sidoarjo, began construction, Thursday (11/12).
This was marked by a groundbreaking procession carried out by the Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment (Menko PM) Muhaimin Iskandar as well as the Chair of the National Task Force for Organizing Islamic Boarding School Development.
The new Al Khoziny building was built on an area of 4,100 square meters on Jalan Siwalan Panji II Buduran, Sidoarjo.It is located not far from the Islamic boarding school complex and old buildings.
The plan for the new Islamic boarding school building consists of a 5-story dormitory building and educational areas.There is also a 4-story mosque building.The entire cost of this project will be fully borne by the 2025-2026 APBN with a ceiling value of IDR 125,314,778,000.
“Yes, [using] the entire APBN. IDR 125 billion was there,” said Cak Imin.
Previously, the three-story building of Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School, Buduran, Sidoarjo collapsed and killed 63 students, last Monday 29 September .
The cause of the building collapse is thought to be construction failure.However, until now the police have not named any suspects in the tragedy.
