Police
stated the number of victims of the delivery car incident

On the other hand, Erick said that the status of the case had been upgraded to the investigation stage.In this case, the police are investigating the alleged violation of Article 360 of the Criminal Code regarding negligence.
According to Erick, so far his party has examined 10 witnesses for questioning.Starting from the victim, the school to other witnesses at the scene.
“The article we are applying is Article 360 of the Criminal Code because negligence results in someone being seriously injured or other injured with a maximum penalty of 5 years,” he said.
Erick said that his party is currently still collecting various evidence.If it is deemed sufficient, investigators will immediately carry out a case to determine the suspect.
“When we have enough evidence tomorrow, we will name a suspect. We are still collecting evidence, both clues and existing evidence, including examination of witnesses. Next we will submit it to court,” he said.
Previously, a car delivering free nutritious meals (MBG) hit students at SDN 01 Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta who were carrying out activities on the school field on Thursday (11/12).
This incident caused 21 people, who were teachers and students, to become victims and had to undergo medical treatment.The police confirmed that there were no casualties in this incident.
After the incident, the replacement driver for the SPPG car named Adi Irawan and the kernet with the initials MRR were arrested.From the temporary inspection, the driver admitted that he stepped on the wrong pedal of the vehicle.
“So the driver’s statement was that the school was at the top, uphill. Well, coincidentally he wanted to deliver the food to the school, this is temporary information, not certain, temporary,” said Bobi, Cilincing Police Chief Commissioner Bobi Subasri to reporters.
