Corruption Eradication Commission
) arrested a total of five people in connection with the Arrest Operation (OTT)
Regent of Central Lampung
Ardito Wijaya.
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said this started with requests for information from a number of parties in the Jakarta and Lampung areas on Tuesday (9/12).
The team, he continued, carried out arrests for alleged corruption crimes in the Central Lampung Regency area the following day.

“The team arrested 5 people in the Lampung area, who were then taken to Jakarta,” said Budi in a written statement, Wednesday (10/12) evening.
He explained that the parties caught in the silent operation, including the regent, were currently still undergoing intensive examination at the KPK’s Red and White Building.
“We will convey the complete chronology and construction of the case at tomorrow’s press conference,” said Budi.
The anti-corruption agency has a maximum time limit of 1 x 24 hours based on the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) to determine the legal status of Ardito and his friends.
