SEA Games Results: Beaten by Thailand 1-3, Indonesian Women’s Team Wins Silver

The Indonesian women’s team badminton team won a silver medal after losing to Thailand in the 2025 SEA Games final at Gymnasium 4, Thammasat University Rangsit Campis, Pathum Thani, Wednesday (10/12).
In the fourth or deciding match, Indonesian women’s doubles Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari lost 19-21, to Ornnicha Jongsathapornparn/Jhenicha Sudjaipraparat.
This defeat meant that Indonesia lost 1-3 to Thailand in the final of the women’s badminton team at the 2025 SEA Games.

In this fourth match, Febriana/Meilysa trailed 7-11 in the first game interval.However, Febriana/Meilysa were able to catch up and managed to equalize the score at 18-18, 19-19.
However, in the end, Febriana/Meilysa lost 19-21 to Ornnicha Jongsathapornparn/Jhenicha Sudjaipraparat in the first game.
Then in the second game, Febriana/Meilysa had to lose with a score of 18-21 to the Thai pair.
In the first match, Indonesia actually managed to lead 1-0 after Indonesian women’s singles Putri Kusuma Wardani beat Pornpawee Chochuwong with a score of 21-8, 13-21, 21-16.
Then in the second match, Indonesian women’s doubles Rachel Allessta Rose/Febi Setianingrum lost 18-21, 21-11, 18-21 to Thai pair Benyapa Aimsaard/Supissara Paewsampran.
Then in the third match, Indonesian women’s singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung lost 7-21, 15-21 to Ratchanok Intanon.
In the first game, Gregoria was 1-10 behind at the start of the game until finally losing 7-21.
Then in the second game, Gregoria also had difficulty playing Ratchanok Intanon, to the point that Gregoria had to cover his face with his own hands.In the second game, Gregoria lost 15-21.
