) is projected to strengthen in trading Thursday (4/12).
WH-Project founder William Hartanto estimates that the stock index will move mixed on the last two days of this week as the market attempts to strengthen the 8,600 area as a new support level.
According to him, the pressure mainly came from banking shares, while the impetus for the increase came from shares of new blue chip conglomerates related to commodities and renewable energy.

“The JCI movement still has the potential to be mixed while testing the strength of support at 8,600,” said William in his daily research.
With this sentiment, William projects that the JCI will move in the support range of 8,600 and resistance of 8,650 today.He also recommended a number of stocks, namely COIN, HUMI, IMAS, and SMGR.
Meanwhile, Binaartha Sekuritas analyst Ivan Rosanova projects that the stock index has the potential to continue its correction towards support at 8,493 and test the SMA-20 line on the daily chart if it moves below 8,564.
On the other hand, there is still an opportunity for strengthening at resistance 8,703 if the index is able to stay above 8,564.
“The level of 8,564 will determine the direction of the JCI, whether to continue the correction or test resistance at 8,703,” said Ivan in his daily research.
He also predicts that the JCI will move at support levels of 8,493, 8,361, 8,255 and 8,163 and resistance levels of 8,703, 8,770 and 8,866 today.Ivan also recommended a number of shares, namely ISAT, JPFA, MBMA, PGAS and PTBA.
JCI closed at level 8,611 on Wednesday (3/12) afternoon.The stock index weakened 5.25 points or minus 0.06 percent from previous trading.
Quoting RTI Infokom, investors made transactions amounting to IDR 21.28 trillion with the number of shares traded amounting to 47.09 billion shares.
At yesterday’s close, 328 stocks rose, 316 corrected, and 160 stagnated.
