According to Masinton, the joint team is still trying to open road access with heavy equipment so that aid can arrive more quickly.
“On the 8th day of the Central Tapanuli flash flood and landslide disaster, the electricity has not been turned on. Rice stocks are running low, long queues at gas stations, LPG gas stocks are running low,” he said.
The death toll from flash floods and landslides in Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra increased to 86 people.Meanwhile, 99 other people are still missing, and 508 have injuries.
“86 people died due to flash floods and landslides, 99 other people were still missing, 508 were injured. Meanwhile, 7,382 people were displaced and 296,454 people were affected,” he said.
