“First we set up emergency tents so that the children can still study,” said Mu’ti to hitclubapk3 Indonesia, Tuesday (2/12).
Mu’ti highlighted the final semester exams which should be held this week.According to him, the implementation of final semester exams will be made flexible according to the conditions of each school.

“The second one will involve the final semester exam because each school will organize it. So, just be flexible and follow the possibilities that each school can do,” he explained.
The Ministry of Basic Education, said Mu’ti, also sends reading books to areas where they can be accessed.Apart from that, psychological consultation services are also provided for flood victims.
“Then thirdly, we will try to gradually provide psychological consultations to children and families affected by disaster.”
Mu’ti claimed that he had carried out data collection on the infrastructure of schools affected by the disaster, although it had not been fully recorded because there were still schools that were inaccessible or isolated.
“We from the UPT Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra have been conducting field mapping several days after this incident occurred,” he said.
“And because of that, we can only convey data that is still general in nature, which of course is still very dynamic but we will continue to update it so that later we can take the best steps to help the affected communities, especially children, who really have to continue learning with the current situation, the level of damage is still quite serious,” he added.
