“Then if the package of goods received was (the perpetrator admitted) for school extracurriculars, so there was no suspicion from the family either,” he continued.
However, Budi admitted that this information was currently still being investigated further by investigators.Until now, investigators are still waiting for the condition of the perpetrator to be questioned.
“The doctor stated that he couldn’t (be examined) yet, because he was still stunned, kept talking for a while, sometimes it seemed like he wasn’t fully recovered,” said Budi.
“After the doctor says that his condition can be questioned, investigators will definitely communicate with the father, social services, and KPAI,” he continued.
The explosion occurred at SMAN 72 North Jakarta, Friday (7/11) at around 12.15 WIB, in the school mosque area during Friday prayers.
There were no fatalities in the incident.However, 96 people were injured in the incident.
Spokesperson for Densus 88 Anti-terror Police AKBP Mayndra Eka Wardhana stated that the explosion at SMA 72 Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta was not terrorism.This action is called a general criminal act.
“There was no finding of any terrorist activity carried out by ABH (children in conflict with the law). So the actions carried out were purely general criminal acts,” he said at a press conference, Tuesday (11/11).
