707 BTS Signal Transmitters in Sumatra Flood Locations Successfully Restored

A total of 707 BTS towers (sites) were affected by the disaster
flood
and landslides in Aceh Province,
North Sumatra
, and West Sumatra was successfully restored.
As of Saturday (29/11) at 00.00 WIB, 707 towers had returned to normal operation.

There are 564 towers operating normally in Aceh Province, 112 towers in North Sumatra, and 31 towers in West Sumatra.
Now, there are 1,756 towers that are still in the process of being restored from the previous 2,463 towers experiencing disruption on Friday (28/11) at 07.00 WIB
The towers that are still experiencing problems are in Aceh, 975 of 3,414 towers, North Sumatra, 707 of 9,612 towers, and West Sumatra, 74 of 3,739 towers.
The Ministry of Communications and Digital continues to coordinate with cellular operators to restore BTS towers that were disrupted due to flooding.
Currently, the backbone route in North Sumatra that connects the Rantau – Padang Sidempuan section and the Sibolga – Barus – Manduamas section has also been successfully restored after previously breaking due to landslides.
Then, the backbone lines on the Banda Aceh – Bireun and Samalanga sections are also currently reported to have recovered and are operating again.
