Israel’s brutal attacks on Gaza continue even though a ceasefire brokered by the United States with Hamas took effect last month.
Earlier medics reported that two Palestinian children were killed in an Israeli drone strike in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.
Witnesses said the drone dropped a bomb on a group of civilians near al-Farabi School and killed brothers Juma and Fadi Tamer Abu Assi.Both were then taken to the Nasser Medical Complex with critical injuries, but were pronounced dead.
Israel also launched land, sea and air attacks on several parts of Gaza.Medical sources reported that three Palestinians were injured by Israeli artillery and aerial bombardment in the town of al-Qarara.
Director of the Gaza Government Media Office, Ismail al-Thawabta, said Israel had committed 535 violations since the ceasefire took effect.
“The security situation in Gaza is deteriorating at an unprecedented rate, and aggression has destroyed critical infrastructure and services,” al-Thawabta said in a statement.
