A number of Indonesian athletes immediately moved quickly to raise donations for the victims of the Sumatran disaster after making the nation proud

After successfully making Indonesia proud at the 2025 SEA Games through victories on the field, a number of athletes showed concern for their brothers and sisters who were victims of the floods in Sumatra.
The following are five athletes/teams who immediately moved to collect donations after appearing at the 2025 SEA Games, quoted from the Ministry of Youth and Sports:

1. Justin Barki
Justin Barki cried with emotion when the Indonesian men’s team tennis team won gold at the 2025 SEA Games. In an interview he gave after the match, Justin Barki stated that he would donate all the bonuses he got to the disaster victims in Sumatra.
2. Robi Syianturi
Robi Syianturi is unrivaled in the men’s marathon at the 2025 SEA Games. In order to help his brothers and sisters in Sumatra, Robi Syianturi then auctioned off the costume he wore when competing.
This historical costume clearly has high value but Robi is willing to let it go in order to raise funds for donations.
3. Odekta Naibaho
Odekta Naibaho once again wrote gold ink at the 2025 SEA Games. Achievements in gold in the marathon and bronze in the 10 thousand meters are important records for Odekta.
He then decided to auction off the shoes and costumes used to raise funds.
4. Hendro Yep
Hendro Yap did something similar.Hendro is the king of speed walking who has won medals in this event for more than the last decade.
He also auctioned jerseys and shoes to raise funds for donations to disaster victims in Sumatra.
5. Indonesian Futsal Team
The Indonesian National Futsal Team, which made history by winning a gold medal for the first time, also stepped in to raise funds.They auctioned off Syauqi Saud’s jersey which had been signed by the players.
