Four suspected perpetrators
prostitution

Head of the Surabaya Police Headquarters, AKBP Erika Purwana Putra, through his statement, said that the four perpetrators, consisting of two pimps and two commercial sex workers (PSK), were suspected of violating regional regulations (perda).

“[The 4 perpetrators] are suspected of violating Article 46 and/or Article 37 of the Sby City Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2020 concerning Amendments to Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Public Order and Community Peace,” said Erika, Wednesday (19/11).
Erika said the raid at the former Dolly localization was carried out last Saturday (15/11) early morning, after her party received a report from the public.
“Following up on public reports that there were allegations of prostitution practices in Dolly’s former locality,” said Erika.
Based on police video, officers initially went to a house in East Putat Jaya.Then, they checked one of the rooms and found a woman who was suspected of practicing prostitution.
In the video, officers are also seen searching the trouser pockets of a man in an alley.Next, photos of a number of women were seen stored on a cellphone.
Then, the police took several men and women to the Surabaya Police Samapta Unit.Meanwhile, a woman was seen riding in a car with officers.
Erika said that her party arrested four people during the raid.Namely, two people are Commercial Sex Workers (PSK) and the rest are pimps.
“We arrested four people, two pimps and two commercial sex workers. Among the four people, one of them is a minor [prostitute],” he explained.
