According to Maya, to ensure smooth, safe and comfortable air travel during the peak year-end holiday season, InJourney ensures that all airports are alerted 24 hours.
“We want to ensure the availability of flight services for the public during the long holiday period,” he added.
In the midst of the rainy season at the end of this year, InJourney Airports is taking various precautions to mitigate the consequences of bad weather.
Through coordination with airlines, InJourney Airports is committed to maintaining punctuality and ensuring that delay management is implemented in accordance with applicable regulations.
InJourney Airports Main Director Mohammad Rizal Pahlevi said that during the Christmas period, namely December 15 2025 to January 4 2026, the number of airplane passengers through the airports under his management is estimated to increase by 4.1 percent compared to the same period in 2024 to 10.5 million passengers.
“All airports under InJourney Airport have been prepared to anticipate an increase in the movement of airplane passengers. We hope to provide comfort and the best service to all users of air transportation modes,” said Rizal.
Rizal said that good collaboration between stakeholders is the main factor in smooth airport operations and services during the peak season of Christmas.
“Flight traffic and services to airplane passengers at InJourney Airports are running smoothly, including peak traffic on December 20-21 2025, thanks to the support of all parties. We are grateful for the very close collaboration and coordination,” he explained.
On the first day of the predicted peak movement, namely December 20 2025, 3,738 aircraft movements were recorded with 517 thousand aircraft passengers.Meanwhile, on the second day, namely December 21 2025, there were 3,695 flights and 512 thousand airplane passengers.
