A total of 35 female police officers (policewomen) received promotions in their positions
Police transfer
in December 2025. The promotion starts from the position of Deputy Chief of Regional Police to Chief of Police.
“Mutations are a normal thing in the National Police organization. Apart from being a form of career development, this is also done to increase professionalism and optimize services to the community,” said Karopenmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, in his statement, Saturday (20/12).

Of the 35 policewomen who received promotions, one of them was Brigadier General Dr Sulastiana who was entrusted with the position of Deputy Chief of West Papua Regional Police.
Apart from that, 17 policewomen received promotions to the position of Commissioner.One of them is Kombes Sumarni who was appointed as Bekasi Metro Police Chief.
Then 11 other policewomen filled the positions of Director of Investigation for the Protection of Women and Children and Eradication of Human Trafficking (Dirres PPA and PPO) in various Regional Police.
They include Commissioner Rita Wulandari Wibowo who was appointed Director of PPA and PPO Polda Metro Jaya.Then, Kombes Andes Purwanti was trusted to be the Director of PPA and PPO of the South Sumatra Regional Police.
Commissioner Ganis Setyaningrum was transferred to become Director of PPA and PPO East Java Regional Police, AKBP Kristinatara Wahyuningrum became Director of PPA and PPO North Sumatra and AKBP Rumi Untara became Director of PPA and PPO West Java Regional Police.
Furthermore, AKBP Nunuk Setiyowati became Director of PPA and PPO of the Central Java Regional Police, AKBP Ni Made Pujewati became Director of PPA and PPO of the NTB Regional Police, Commissioner Dr.Nova Irone Surentu becomes Director of PPA and PPO of the NTT Regional Police.
Then, Kombes Rusdiani became Director of PPA and PPO of West Kalimantan Regional Police, AKBP Osva became Director of PPA and PPO of South Sulawesi Regional Police and AKBP Nonie Johanna Sengkey became Director of PPA and PPO of North Sulawesi Regional Police.
“Strengthening the structure of the PPA and PPO Directorates in a number of Polda is Polri’s commitment to improving services and protection for women, children and vulnerable groups. The placement of policewomen in these positions is expected to provide a more humane and responsive approach,” said Trunoyudo.
Not only that, six policewomen are also trusted to serve as police chiefs in various regions.This assignment reflects the confidence of the National Police leadership in the capacity and leadership of Policewomen in the field.
The details are Karimun Police Chief AKBP Yunita Stevani, Majalengka Police Chief AKBP Rita Suwadi, Batang Police Chief AKBP Veronica, Tebing Tinggi Police Chief AKBP Rina Frillya, Purbalingga Police Chief AKBP Anita Indah Setyaningrum and Samosir Police Chief AKBP Rina Sry Nirwana Tarigan.
“Through this mutation, the National Police hopes that the organization’s performance will become more solid, adaptive, and able to provide the best protection and service for all levels of society,” concluded Trunoyudo.
