will carry out a reconvention or counterclaim against 34 party cadres who filed a lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court (PN).
The reconvention plan will be carried out after he and his father-in-law, Amien Rais as Chair of the Syuro Council of the Ummat Party, Secretary of the Syuro Council Ansufri Idrus Sambo and Secretary General Taufik Hidayat were sued by the 34 cadres.
The cadres sued Ridho and other Ummat Party officials, including Amien, for IDR 24 billion for alleged unlawful acts.

“We will carry out a reconvention or counterclaim,” said Ridho when confirmed, Monday (17/11).
Meanwhile, Amien’s legal team and his son-in-law, Denie Amiruddin, admitted that they could not comment on the lawsuit filed by 34 cadres against their clients.He admitted that he had not received the lawsuit letter from the court.
However, Denie admitted that his party would respect the legal process for his client.He said his client’s position would be decided soon after reading the lawsuit letter from the court.
“We will determine our legal stance after reading the material of the plaintiffs’ lawsuit, and as a form of high legal awareness, we will most likely carry out a reconvention lawsuit,” he said.
The lawsuit by 34 Ummat Party cadres from various regions was filed on November 13 2025 and has been registered under case number 1247/Pdt.Sus-Parpol/2025/PN JKT.SEL.
Of the 34 cadres as plaintiffs in the case, some of them include Zul Badri, Niko Fransisco, Irsyadul Fauzi, and Abdul Hakim.
The first trial of the lawsuit is planned to be held on November 24.However, the South Jakarta District Court’s Case Tracking Information System (SIPP) has not yet revealed the petitum in this case.
