“For the articles alleged against suspects from TNI elements, they refer to the provisions of the Criminal Code, namely Article 340 in conjunction with 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 328 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 333 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code and/or Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code,” said Kadispenad Colonel(Inf) Donny Pramono to journalists, Tuesday (25/11).
According to Donny, the handling of this case is currently in the filing stage.Pomdam Jaya investigators, he said, are just waiting to determine the evidence from Polda Metro Jaya investigators.
“After everything is complete, the files will immediately be handed over to the Jakarta II-07 Military Prosecutor’s Office for further legal proceedings,” said Donny.
Ilham, who is the head of a sub-branch office (KCP) of a bank in Central Jakarta, became a victim of kidnapping and murder.
Ilham’s body was found in a rice field area in Serang Baru District, Bekasi Regency, Thursday (21/8) morning.Before being found dead, the victim was kidnapped in the parking lot of a shopping center in the Ciracas area, East Jakarta, Wednesday (20/8).
In this case, the police have arrested 15 suspects.One of them is Dwi Hartono, who is known as crazy rich Jambi and has an online tutoring business.
Apart from the 15 suspects, three TNI AD soldiers involved in the case were also named as suspects.They are Kopda Feri Herianto, Serka M. Natsir and Serka Franky Yari alias Pace.
Based on the investigation, it was revealed that the motive behind the kidnapping and murder was because he wanted to transfer money from a dormant account to a holding account.A dormant account is an account that has not been actively used for transactions for at least three months.
“The motive for the perpetrators to carry out their actions was that the perpetrators or suspects planned to transfer money from a dormant account to a holding account that had been prepared,” said Director of Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Wira Satya Triputra in a press conference, Tuesday (16/9).
