KPop Demon Hunters director, Maggie Kang, revealed that Jinu’s character was deliberately designed to imitate the aura and visual aesthetic of popular Korean drama actors, namely Cha Eun-woo and Nam Joo-hyuk.
This similarity can be seen from Jinu’s delicate facial features, tall, slender posture, strong charisma, and jet black hair similar to the two actors.
2. Voiced by Ahn Hyo-seop
The character Jinu is voiced by top South Korean actor, Ahn Hyo-seop.The actor, who started his career in 2015 and starred in the hit drama Business Proposal (2022) as Kang Tae-moo, is known to have good English skills.This is because Hyo-seop spent his teenage years in Toronto, Canada.
