A total of 2,511 joint personnel were deployed to secure activities

which will be held in the Monas area, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (2/12) evening.
“For the strength of service personnel, we have prepared 2,511 joint personnel,” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro in his statement, Tuesday.

Susatyo conveyed that security will be carried out in a humane manner and prioritize preventive measures to ensure the stability of security and conducive public order (kamtibmas).
Susatyo also appealed to the action participants to use the parking bags provided around Monas and not to park on the side of the main road which could cause traffic jams.
“Participants are advised to store valuables such as cellphones, jewelry and wallets properly to avoid cases of pickpocketing,” he said.
“Parents who bring children are asked to always ensure that they are not separated from the group. Medical officers and health posts have been provided in the activity area,” he continued.
Furthermore, Susatyo also appealed to the general public who were not interested in seeking alternative routes.He said, although traffic engineering had been prepared, its implementation would be very situational.
“Road users who will pass around Monas should look for alternative routes to avoid traffic jams during the event. Traffic will be implemented situationally considering the escalation of the crowd on the ground,” he said.
The 212 reunion will be held again at Silang Monas, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/12) with the theme “Moral Revolution to Save the Republic of Indonesia from Criminals and Free Palestine from Colonizers”.
Chairman of the Steering Committee (SC) Ahmad Shobri Lubis said the main aim of the event was to strengthen the unity of the Ummah, which became the basis for the 212 Islamic Defense Action in 2016.
Different from previous years which started with qiyamullail (evening prayers) until dawn prayers in congregation, this year’s series of activities will begin with Maghrib prayers in congregation, then continued with dhikr, joint prayers and tausiyah for the ulama.
The committee also openly invited President Prabowo Subianto along with a number of ministers and related officials.Apart from that, Habib Rizieq Shihab is also scheduled to attend the event.
