The disaster occurred on Monday (24/11) and affected five sub-districts in Sinjai.Based on records from the Sinjai BPBD, 27 trees fell on a number of electricity poles.

“The tree also hit two motorbikes, a government building and a motorbike showroom, all of which suffered heavy damage. The worst location was in North Sinjai District,” he said.
However, said Budiaman, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the disaster.Residents have also carried out repairs to their homes independently.
“All fallen tree material that blocked a number of roads and hit residents’ houses has all been evacuated by BPBD. No residents were evacuated or evacuated,” he explained.
BPBD Sinjai appealed to the public to increase awareness of hydrometeorological disasters.
