(USA).
Bara said there were two containers of Indonesian footwear products that were refused entry to the US.He said the product was produced by a company with the initials NM.
“After we investigated, there were two containers of suspected CS-137 that were returned to Indonesia. The footwear products came from a footwear industrial company which is also located in Cikande, but outside the industrial area, with a radius of 5 km from the source of CS-137 contamination, namely the PT PMT facility,” said Bara in a Media Briefing at the Coordinating Ministry for Food office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (12/11).

The first container arrived a month ago in Indonesia and has not yet been processed by the manufacturer so there has been no inspection.Meanwhile, the second container with notification of Cs-137 contamination arrived October 29, 2025.
Bara said the second container had been inspected by the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) on October 30 2025.
Furthermore, he explained that the results of the inspection of the two containers did not reveal surface contamination so they were safe to store at the port.

Separately, the Ministry of Industry revealed that 22 companies were contaminated with Cesium-137 radiation.One of them is PT Nikomas Gemilang.
Nikomas Gemilang is a company in Serang Regency, Banten which is a manufacturer of brands such as Nike to Adidas.
“The results of inspections and mapping that have been carried out in this industrial area have identified 15 metal smelting industries that have exposure to Cs-137 and non-Cs-137 radiation with a dose rate of 0.18 to 700 microsieverts per hour,” said the Director General of the Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment and Electronics Industry (ILMATE) of the Ministry of Industry, Setia Diarta, in a hearing with Commission VII DPR RI, Central Jakarta, Monday (10/11).
