A child with the initials MH (12) became a victim of the action
mugging
by two men in a housing complex in Penjaringan, North Jakarta on Tuesday (11/11) at around 15.45 WIB.
The incident began when the victim came home from school and arrived at his house.The victim then took his cellphone and left the house to play around the complex.

“While playing around the Carina Sayang Complex, (the victim) met two men he didn’t know riding a green automatic motorbike, number B 4006 (letter can’t remember) Honda beat type,” said Cilandak Police Chief Commissioner Febriman in his statement, Wednesday (12/11).
Then, the two men asked the victim to hand over his cellphone.After that, the two perpetrators also invited the victim to go for a ride on a motorbike.
Long story short, the two perpetrators then dropped the victim off on Jalan H. Abu, South Cipete, Cilandak, South Jakarta.At that time, the perpetrator hit and threatened the victim not to scream.
“MH was hit on the left cheek and threatened not to scream. Then he was left by the two men he didn’t know,” said Febriman.
After the perpetrator left, the victim met one of the local residents who was the mosque marshal.The resident then took the victim to the RW Chair.
“As Head of the RW, Abdul Said contacted Aiptu Rofyaningtyas as Bhabinkamtibmas Cipete Selatan and then MH was taken by Samapta Aipda Harsono personnel and then detained at the Cilandak Police,” said Febriman.
As a follow-up, said Febriman, his party then contacted the parents to pick up the victim at the Cilandak Police.
“Subsequently, the Cilandak Police handed over MH to his parents to take him back to his house,” he said.
