Armia Fahmi said the condition of the area is currently still isolated and needs immediate assistance, considering that there are 10 sub-districts that still cannot be reached.
His party was only able to reach 2 sub-districts for distribution of logistical aid, namely Kuala Simpang and Rantau sub-districts.
Meanwhile, 10 other sub-districts can only be accessed by air and sea because land routes are still cut off and inundated by floods.

“Right now we can only access aid from 2 sub-districts, namely Kuala Simpang and Rantau sub-districts. 10 sub-districts cannot yet be accessed,” said Armia Fahmi to reporters, Sunday (30/11).
His party continues to communicate with the Aceh and Central Governments so that aid can be distributed by air and sea.
“If aid goes to Langsa by land route to Tamiang, the road still has many obstacles, water is still inundating the road,” he said.
Currently, 10 people have died from floods and landslides in Aceh Tamiang.Apart from cut off access, telecommunications and electricity networks in the area are still out.
Aceh Regional Secretary M Nasir said that the distribution of aid in East Aceh, Langsa and Aceh Tamiang was carried out in parallel and in the next two days all isolated areas would be reached.
“The Basarnas team will accompany every logistics transport flight. The hope is that within two days all isolated points can be reached,” said Nasir.
